In my desire to enrich my family’s days with picture books, I have researched special events and special birthdays throughout the year and created monthly booklists. Every day is either the anniversary of an important historical event, such as the attack on Pearl Harbor, or the birthday of someone who has impacted the world in a special way, such as Mozart. For as many days of the year as possible I have looked high and low to find picture books celebrating such events and people. It is like being on a wonderful treasure hunt! Every new picture book that I discover is like finding a new friend and making new connections. The booklists are arranged by month, and each day of the month is filled with its picture book title, enrichment activities and a recipe. So please come join us in our quest for wonder and excitement! Come discover a whole new way to learn and create meaningful relationships. You will not regret it!
